ROCK AND ROLL ISN`T DEAD BUT IT IS SCREAMING UNCLE!
In July of 2014, Vancouver BC (Canada) based band Uncle Sid (www.unclesid.com) recruited, which they hope will be their last vocal change up. Her name is Emerald Green and when she auditioned, her vocals fits the band perfectly. Which immediately lead the band to writing several new songs for their new CD due for release early 2016. With her hard rockin melodic style, she brings Uncle Sid’s music full circle to a place where the band is ready to get on the road to Rock!
Uncle Sid features newest band members, Emerald Green on vocals and Frankie Scars on guitar. Along the combination of Kirk October on bass and Dale Salive on drums gives Green’s passionate, melodic, dynamic melt in your brain vocals and the wailing guitar playing of Scars a solid foundation from which to soar.
Uncle Sid’s new music delivers a combination of melodic grooves and classic head banging, fist pumping hard rock/metal sensation which we feel fans will enjoy. For anyone with their ear to the ground of today’s rock'n roll metal resurgence, the band is an absolute must hear.
The live show accompanying the new releases delivers an unapologetic rock concert showcasing the band member’s individual talents. 2014 plans saw us doing a Fall Canadian tour. 2015 we are working diligently on new material for our self titled CD 'Uncle Sid” along with plans to tour Japan, Uk, Germany and the United States in 2016.
